One day on the way back from the dog park my boyfriend and I was a sign for an estate sale. Being curious we followed it to what ended up being a consignment store. It was an unseasonably warm day for November so I refused to leave Beau in the car. We both agreed that we would try to bring him into the shop and see what happened. Buying a harness

I have had some of the most difficulties in looking for a new harness for Beau ever since he outgrew his one from Petsmart. For small dogs, a harness is considered a good choice because you are not pulling upwards on their necks, instead you are pulling upwards on their chest and you have more control of your pet without as much risk of harming them. Staying overnight with a puppy

Because I was born in the late 90s this is the first year I was able to vote in a presidential election with meant I had to come back home to vote because that is where I am registered. When I was first looking to get a dog I did tons of research. I thought I was prepared for what it was like to have a little ball of sentience running around my apartment. Dealing With A Loss

img_0660Because I got a puppy in my 20’s I am very aware that he will be with me for a lot of important milestones. He will be there when I graduate college, He will be there when I get my first job, he will be there through many moves, many relationships, many long nights. Through good times and tough times, I have made a commitment to this dog to be with him through all of his life. My close friend, Sarah, made a similar commitment when she was in middle school to her beloved Chihuahua Lexi. Continue reading
